  • 1994 – Ministry of Justice, Centre for documentation of illegality of the communist regime –officer
  • 1995 – 1998 Police of the Czech Republic, Office of the Documentation and the Investigation of the Crimes of Communism – councillor, later department head 
  • 2000 – 2001 military service as military lawyer
  • 2001 – 2002 Office for Personal Data Protection, electronic signature department – lawyer
  • 2002 – 2003 Czech Telecommunication Office – director of department 
  • 2003 – onwards Office for Personal Data Protection:
            2003 – officer with administrative proceedings department
            2003 – director of administrative proceedings department
            2004 – director of analytical department
            2006 – head of independent legislation and EU-law unit
            2009 – director of legislation and EU-law department
            2010 – director of legislation and international relations department
            2016 – director of administration section
            2019 – deputy president of the office

Founding chairman of the Czech Association for Personal Data Protection in 2014. Currently, off the job, member of the Czech Society of Friends of Israel and one of the co-founders of the Czechoslovak Republic Antonín Švehla society.
