On Wednesday, 11 June 2014 we welcomed at the Office´s premises winners of the 8th edition of the competition "My Privacy! Don´t Look, Don´t Poke About!". They arrived in accompany of their teachers or parents. Mr Igor Němec, president of the Office festively handed over diplomas and prizes. Then, Ms Eva Vrbová, director of the basic identifiers department acquainted the children with the activities of the ORG office which is functional part of the basic register system. Present to the award ceremony was also the editor of the Parlamentní listy newspapers who engaged in discussion with the children.
After a pleasant get-together with members of the press department, children with their accompany visited the historic rooms of Clementinum, including the Mirror Chapel to where they were accompanied by Mr Giebisch from the Association of Library and Information Professionals, partner of the competition since many years. Later, they used the opportunity to learn the premises of the Czech Radio Prague, a traditional media partner of this competition.
We congratulate all winners once more, thank all competitors and look forward to next edition of the competition.

Results of the 8th year (2014)
Expert jury met on Wednesday, 14 May 2014 (Ms Helena Kačerová, Czech Radio, Mr Roman Giebisch, Association of Library and Information Professionals of the Czech Republic, Ms Lenka Eckertová, Saferinternet, and members of the Office´s press department) to choose out of incoming 35 texts and 101 draft badges the following winners.

We congratulate all awarded youngsters and extend our thanks to the schools which devoted their attention to the issue of personal data protection. Other competitors have also our thanks for their contributions. We look forward to meeting the winners on 11 June 2014 at the award-giving ceremony at the Office for Personal Data Protection. We have prepared an accompanying program as well.
